Get a reply from the author

Did you spark the interest of the post author with your comment? Even more valuable than an upvote, is getting a response from the author of the post.

While you can't control whether or not other people reply to your posts, there are steps you can take to encourage it, such as replying to comments left on your post and leaving comments on other people's posts, as well as reblogging other posts you find interesting.
